Taking much longer to get through than I'd hoped, but, so far, very worth it.

Much darker than I expected it to get only one chapter in. Promising.

High expectations have so far not been met. Characters feel flimsy and unbelievable. Hopefully, things will improve as the plot picks up.

At the library for a couple hours today. Gonna try to lock in and finish The Shining after months of not reading any of it.

I’ve been procrastinating to hell and back on this book. Goal is to finish it in a couple weeks bc it’s been in my currently reading for like three months
