What a story to savor !!
Can’t believe this is a debut novel.

This is so depressing! Right now everyone is a thief. Some because they are starving others who want it just a bit easier. I don’t have too much sympathy for the main character since she brought on her own misfortune.

I am just upset that Joe Jr. would think that he should get any inheritance. It wasn’t his father’s money who was a dead beat. The money should go to his stepsister. It was her mother’s money.

I feel like I am reading an information book on various topics while the author occasionally throws in personal anecdotes about her personal life. Just want to be done !!!

I am going into this book with very low expectations since many of my GR friends panned it! But since it’s been on my TBR list for a few years. I will give it a go

Wow! A lot of nasty family members. Is that how teenagers are now talking to their parents and siblings??? Boy, I hope not.

Totally engaged at the beginning now not so much! Just want to be done !

Not sure how I am feeling about this one. It was very easy to get into but so much drugs and sex, no rock n’ roll yet though 🤣

I can’t wait to be done with this book. It’s all a bit formulaic. This is only my second book by this author and it’s so similar to the other one I read, the ever popular Housemaid. But this time the other person is a care giver. The tile has also been used before !! But that doesn’t bother me as much as everything else !

Oh boy, how are all the women in these books just so naive???? Have they not heard of Love bombing ?

Not really feeling this book at all. But will finish it. Just dragging, not the page turner I was hoping to get read.

Glad this is a short book. Even though I might be the targeted audience for this book it is boring !!!!
I feel like I am a fly on the wall observing a dysfunctional family’s summer vacation. I only say dysfunctional because the mother is just too much into her kids business but who am I do judge🤦‍♀️

I am still plodding through this and will finish because I rarely can dnf a book once I start. However, I just feel so frustrated with all the characters. The so called adults in the story ( parents of the unwed mothers are just despicable).

I can’t say how surprised I am to say I enjoyed this memoir and found it heartwarmingly entertaining! I went in with very low expectations. I can’t say I like or disliked Bob Saget but I enjoy learning about all types of people’s lives and hearing their perspectives. I put this book on my Hoopla TBR list when Bob unexpectedly passed away a few years ago. I listened to the audio which was well done. RiP Bob!

Yup, I saw where this was going not happy at the moment. Nina is a crazy lady and all the main characters are making poor decisions!!

My first book by this author which I was in no hurry to read but thought I would finally give her a try.

Loving this what a fun read !!

I am still very frustrated with the poor choices Patricia keeps making!! Right now I feel she deserves to be bitten 🤣🤣will see if that ends up happening, I just want this story to end.
