Loving this story …. My only niggle is that they keep describing Vera as frail, weak, old. Yes, she is 60 but I know many ladies myself included older than 60 who are far from frail!!!

Not the best but is a book that has snow in it so fulfills my Massachusetts reading challenge for January 2026!

I am having a hard time connecting with this story and the characters. I keep having to reread because my mind tends to wander a bit bored by it. I will continue to plow through it.

A bit strange …. Many characters even bison that talk. I will stick with it because I am reading for my November Goodreads challenge but not enjoying.

Enjoying this thriller …. Glad I don’t have a cruise scheduled in the near future!!

Read some one star reviews so I went in with low expectations. However, so far I am enjoying this audiobook. It’s a very quick read.

Oh boy !!!! On chapter 38 and have to take another pause from reading. Just too intense right now !!! This book is upsetting on my nervous system!!

I am so invested in the story line but can’t wait to finish the book because it’s making me feel so stressed. Right now I can only read in small chunks then need to take a break.

I have had this book on hold for a very long time! Just came in last night. I went into knowing very little other than it’s one of my favorite authors. Did not realize it was so sad 😞 and reading it at a sad season in my life is not helping. 😫

If I was reading this book rather than listening to this book I would still be on page 20 I think !!!
The narrator is doing a great job but this has been a tough read.

This had me hooked from the very start. I saw some of the twist coming but there definitely were a few surprises.
