This is so frustrating how she is allowing Sam to control her !!!! So sad !!!

Reading this for my last summer challenge on Goodreads. Don’t think I would have found it otherwise or chosen it to read. It was one of the only choices that was available at the moment. Will give it a try.

There is SO much wrong with this story 🤣like would the sheriff be helping the accused attorney, would the murder suspect move back into the house where the crime took place, and would a mother call her adult son Cubby bear 🤦‍♀️
However, I’m hooked on this crazy story.

Not enjoying the science fiction part of this book. Looking forward to getting this book finished.

Way behind in my reading but I have a great excuse, four days with the grandchildren!! Grammy Camp just came to a close. Now, I am relaxing listening to this great audiobook. Is it just me, but it seems more and more authors are using the … Then and Now structure for storytelling.

Do not like the main character but that’s okay.

Getting frustrated with this book! I can see why people love it and others hated it. The audio is extremely well done but it’s breathing on.

I just hate Barbara!!!!! It’s heartbreaking to know there are parents like this out there!!

Had a hard time getting into this one and I have been a big fan of this author in the past.
I had to start over a few times because I had no connection to the characters. I think I’m on a roll now.

Not sure how I am feeling about this book. Just read some one star reviews and I sort of agree with some of their reasons for the low ratings. It’s a bit boring.

Not what I thought this book was going to be about… it’s dark but hard to put down

Listened to most of this book while doing yard work. Great way to be entertained while getting some must dos off my list. At first, because I was multitasking it took me some time to remember which personality went with each name.

There are a lot of sick crazy people in this town !
Hope to finish it soon so I can find out who is the sickest of the sick!

Can’t believe this is a debut novel.

This is so depressing! Right now everyone is a thief. Some because they are starving others who want it just a bit easier. I don’t have too much sympathy for the main character since she brought on her own misfortune.

I am just upset that Joe Jr. would think that he should get any inheritance. It wasn’t his father’s money who was a dead beat. The money should go to his stepsister. It was her mother’s money.

I feel like I am reading an information book on various topics while the author occasionally throws in personal anecdotes about her personal life. Just want to be done !!!

Not sure how I am feeling about this one. It was very easy to get into but so much drugs and sex, no rock n’ roll yet though 🤣
