Something to take the edge off in between these large chapters of Anna Karenina. Pleasantly surprised at how smooth and enjoyable these short stories are. I was not familiar with Chekovs game

Not even 100 pages in and this is the best book I’ve ever read in my entire life. I don’t think I’ll need to read another book again. The writing is so beautiful and perceptive. I feel like I’m staring into real life. The way these characters are written, down to their little mannerisms, inner thoughts, and physical reactions to their situations, is so reflective of what it means to be human.

Not even halfway through and I think this is the best book I have ever read. Never thought a reading experience could feel this deeply spiritual.
