I don't know why but the coats of arms are painted from life scene gets me every time.

Just right up top:

No, not even close. It doesn't even have horny in the title. Have you never even heard of Bram Stroker's Horny Dracula?

The amount of times someone in the story says the obvious badguy is charming or charismatic set against the no times he's actually been charming or charismatic is starting to get to me.

While I was irritated by how lost I felt in the world of The Dawnhounds earlier in the book, having all the other characters vomit up backstory all over Yat doesn't seem like the best solution to me.

Every time there's writings from the first scythes in this it might as well just say "we're idiots". It amounts to basically the same thing.

Still not really sure what's going on. A bit sad that it seems like the sex and drugs have gone and I'm not even getting clarity in return.

This book is a lot. But I quite like it so far.
