I am genuinely enjoying this book so far! The dialogue is witty without feeling childish and the characters are interesting and play off of each other well. Brynn's reaction outside the bookshop towards the place her husband died didn't feel unrealistic and played up for drama. It really felt like she was battling a traumatic memory. Can't wait to keep reading!!!

Katie is literally insane.
A man she hardly knows keeps pushing her to go on a date with him, SHOWS UP AT HER HOUSE AFTER SOMEHOW GETTING HER ADDRESS, and for some inexplicable reason she lets him in because he's hot and brought her dinner and flowers. THEN, after kissing a completely different guy who has been nothing but kind and respectful to her, she proceeds to think about kissing the creepy guy???
Hate that.

I have a strong suspicion of one character, but it seems so obvious that I can't possibly be correct.

I've started getting into the cozy mystery genre and I like it a lot so far! The murder is addressed, but not in graphic, gory detail. It gives me the thrill of a murder mystery without the nightmares lol.
For this one specifically, I like that Tricia thinks and evaluates her negative relationship with her sister and doesn't just pin the blame on Angelica, but takes some of it herself because of how she reacts.

I'm not a big fan of how Lottie has completely changed after she finds out about magic and admits to being in love with Marigold. I get that she's opening up and showing her vulnerability, but it's like the old her is completely gone. The banter just isn't the same and Lottie seems like a whole different character.

Finally getting back into reading.
These two want to kiss so bad it's crazy.

I'm very much enjoying this story so far!
Mika is bubbly and fun without being annoyingly so and the side characters are well developed enough to stand on their own. Can't wait to read more!

There is literally no way to explain this book without sounding like a complete lunatic. I love it.

The main character sucks less now.

AJ is a huge book snob in the worst way. I honestly don't like him at all.

What an iconic woman.

Wasn't expecting the Big Reveal about Wendell so soon, but I'm not complaining. I love having a main character that isn't obtuse.

Honestly, I'm very much enjoying this book. It's just one of those simple romance novels that is fun to relax with.
