The rules of time travel, the butterfly effect, curiosity vs fear.

I said in my first update that this was like fairytale but make it time travel. In a way this is true up to this point. Old dying man, younger protagonist learning the trade secrets if you will. However, I really struggled with the pacing of fairytale for the first 150 pgs due to the build up, 11/22/63 has gotten straight, and I love it!

Very familiar writing style

War and devastation - there is no reprieve for liberators, nor can there be room for joy.

The prophet adds to the further to the Mystery of this world. What can be believed, what is real and what isn’t. Why is Piranesi so inquisitive yet so oblivious to the truth behind his reality. Every journal entry is adds to this story and the poetic writing makes this such a readable story

I have never experienced a better start to a book in my life. I had chills all throughout Mustangs speech and the epilogue. So beautifully written!

Such an interesting start, I can see why it’s a universally loved book. What a quirky and engaging world

Really enjoying all of the new storyline’s and different perspectives. Some how have made Darrow a douche in this book, didn’t think that was possible. Still delivering the goods tho

Yikes this can’t be how it ends 😴😴😴

What a huge build up for the Trifecta, just for them to be blown up by a bunch of bombs in the space a few pages. The first 350 pages felt like we were leading up to this moment, such uncertainty about what Riga would bring, just for a demolition job and a "oh wow, ive got the best of both worlds" for Rin. A long long long build up for nothing. lets keep moving, or walking to where we want to go for the next 100 pgs!
