good so far, idk if i like it more than book 1, but a very pleasant (hopefully) plot twist just happened, so we shall see!

i am not focusing on this as much as the other books i am reading, but i can appreciate how wonderful the poems in this are. i cannot imagine how much more passionate i would be if i could identify more with the subjects of some of the pieces (i am not asian), but i LOVE them so much

reading this book has felt like pulling teeth for me, which sucks, because i love this series. it’s just so much exposition and sooooooOOOOOOO many names. but we persist.

holy cow i am absolutely obsessed w this book . emily henry is a wizard with words & i love her character creation
