The characters are intriguing. It started out slow for me. I've become more interested the deeper I've gotten into the book. The premise is thought provoking.

The story has definitely picked up and gotten more interesting. I am excited to see where the story will go.

This is a hard subject, but I am loving this graphic medicine title so far. It's a powerful story.

I learned about Miguel Gallardo, who created "A Christmas at Home" in this. He created a graphic memoir, Maria y yo, about him and his autistic daughter. I hope that it gets translated into English soon.

I'm really enjoying these stories. It is a glimpse inside another culture, which makes my anthropologist self very happy.
