Finally might be getting to how the watermill ties in to everything

Okay, so the dad from the String Phone story is Uncle in the abused boys journals, and he was affiliated with the cult because of the doll. The parents in the first story also had a doll. The String Phone dad had a room removed from his new house…Everything is bleeding together a little bit now

Okay, so my guess is Hikura Homes is a front for the Rebirth Congregation and all of the deaths surrounding their properties are sacrifices to The Holy Mother. The watermill has to be tied to the cult somehow, that’s the only thing I’m unsure of how it’s tied in right now.

Okay, so all 4 of the houses/structures so far are tied to the Hikura Homes company…Right? And so far, 3 out of the 4 have confirmed deaths that occurred in the house, if not on the property, and almost as a direct consequence of the design/building of the house…The only thing throwing me off right now is #3 because it’s not a “house” and there are no confirmed deaths, just assumptions.

So far, both case #1 and #2 have to do with home building companies that both have the deaths of children tied directly to their builds. #1 included a young boy accidentally being ran over by one of the builders and #2 blamed the home layout for driving the habitants to insanity, resulting in 3 stabbing deaths, one of which was another young boy…

I think Etter was really able to capture a feeling I think all women have felt of having to choose between 2 evils when you find out something potentially dealbreaking about a partner you particularly like…I kind of hate the whole Chef situation for Cassie because I’d hate that for me. But I also understand why she stays.

So far so good, I like when books are a little choppy like this one is. Helps me read it faster. Also that whole "Tell Me" game at lunch was crazy work.

Interesting how this book tastes place in a much different San Francisco than the one I just read about in Chaos.

Aside from all the he-said she-said, some of the most damming evidence so far (in my opinion) is the fact that the LAPD put IN AN OFFICIAL WRITTEN STATEMENT that they simply had no records on the case. That is just blatantly irresponsible at best and wildly suspicious at worst.
