These little fantasy sci-fi genres seem to be really taking me into a youthful phase for some reason. Really surprising at how the last couple have been. YA wasn’t a genre I really enjoyed previously maybe this isn’t it for others but it’s got YA feels to me!

Chapter 11 is quite a good part for reflection and taking notes and actually doing the exercise would be worthwhile. Not possible atm for me but will definitely come back to this! So needed to note 📝

Ok well a bit further on and that previous moment was when I knew it was going in this direction it just took a minute to realise! (Haven’t read synopsis since requested & so kinda went in blind to this today)

“Any man would be lucky to rape you” um sorry what..?! I had to rewind twice to make sure I heard this correctly I appreciate the context it was said in was that a character was tailing behind the group and said something like nobody would want to rape me anyway but… WHAT?! Until this point this had been going well; will give benefit of doubt for now but thought I was mishearing!

Easy listen so far typical rom/com style just what I needed atm 🫶🏼📚
