Ok I am DEVOURING this just like the first one!!!!

I’ve read the first 10 chapters and I’m already really enjoying this. It’s easy to get into and I’m starting to feel invested in the characters and their story. The writing flows well and I’m definitely intrigued to see where it goes.

The slow burn finally starts tipping into something real and the emotional tension is unbearable in the best way. Every interaction feels loaded — the looks, the almosts, the moments where they’re clearly holding back but barely.

The shift from denial to realisation??? I was screaming. You can feel them crossing that line where there’s no going back, and it’s equal parts soft and painful.

The first 10 chapters of Onyx Storm are already so much darker and heavier than the previous books. Violet feels stronger but more guarded, and the tension—especially with Xaden—is quietly building in a way that makes everything feel off.
