Lord of the Rings meets Oceans 11 and I am LOVING IT

Really waiting for the plot to really start. At Chapter 10 and it feels like we in the exposition.

Helpful tip: if you read this book while on a red-eye flight you'll also feel yourself losing touch with reality just like Lucy.

Now I am trying to see if I can write a sentence using all the letters of the alphabet with only 6 repetitions and make it simple...

maybe "Grumpy wizards make toxic brew for jack and the evil queen."?

'Our repulsion, you see, will not spur into revolt until the plague moves much closer to home'

Also so cute! The girl's name is Ella Minnow-Pea

Piranesi has me craving another dystopia/fantasy. Excited to get this off my want-to-read.

I'm having so fun right now being just as confused as the narrator. I love being along for the ride

I think I need to finish this book so it can stop haunting my currently reading shelf :/

I don't know if it was because I was listening to this while packing up my entire apartment at 3 am, but this book felt like I was writing down a mystery I imagined in a fever dream.

The real crime is that whodunnits are my favorite genre, and I've never read an Agatha Christie novel. After hearing it referenced in many other whodunnits, it's finally time I read this. I am hoping to get an even more profound appreciation of the genre.

I am excited to start this book! I really want to learn more about parts of history from my country that I missed since I wasn't formally educated there. I've heard bits and parts of this from my parents since this was happening when I was in elementary school: I am excited to delve deeper into it.

I am going to be honest... i think this book might just stay in currently reading purgatory.
