I expected a lot more from the book. I won’t finish it.

What I expected: more interesting storytelling, more background information, a more compelling narrative. Some bits are captivating, but there’s too much page-filling in between.

What it is: a sequence of chance encounters and transcribed conversations with strangers along the journey.
