So the evil mother is finally dead. Thank God. However, I assumed the death would have offered up some realisations for Jennette, like that her mom was the worst. Her codependence on her mother didn't either or rather it was transformed and she began her dependence on her new boyfriend (much better than Joe).

Joe gets her to go to therapy but one therapy gets her to realise her mother was abusive she ended it.

Im having a great time and the writing is growing on me. It’s surprisingly not just goopy romance or smut. There’s emotions growth and learning.

Okay we’re having some fun now. But Hermes and now Hecate- for her existence being a secret Gods keep finding out. But Hecate seems like a Badass Girls’ Girl.

Just kind of bland but things are starting to happened. Still setting the scene. I do want to see more from Hades and more of him.

Pretty okay starting- I kinda like where it’s going. Writing isn’t amazing but it’s lowkey smut so idk. Or atleast I think it will be.

Chapter 1: we get to the Balfour declaration. Learn of the growing Palestinian Identity. Jewish Palestinians included in that. Plus when European nations took over the countries that were Greater Syria and finally the Declaration in 1917.

I don’t know what else to say at the moment. We went on and on about the father and Ariel/Leon- Idk what we gained from that besides parallels with father & son and Elio & Michel. Just started the 4th part with Paul and Erica- I guess Oliver is in this part but I know he’s in the last part.

So far this is not so much a sequel of Oli and Elio love but an exploration of age gap love within the same realm.

Elio’S really fell for this girl and she reminds me of the MC from “Boy Parts”, which definitely isn’t a good thing. They seem to be happy now.

I’ve read the vast majority of the book now and haven’t seen Oliver yet. We heard of him when Elio meets Michel and they speak of past lovers.

This is gonna be one of the longest books I’ve read since I was a child so it’ll be different. The pacing will be different, the amount of content will be different and so will the content’s substance as it is high fantasy- something new to me.

A LOT of things have been introduced but I’m reading slowly and highlighting to take it all in. So far it is interesting but has not gotten me to bite just as yet.

Oh my god I was so happy to be with Arthur, Linus and the whole group again. Learning about Arthur’s past and the children’s growth. More importantly though chapter 5 or rather the back half of the first hundred pages WOAH I felt like I was right there in the courtroom. Wondering who had what up there sleeve.

Started it while waiting in ER with mum. I love the historical relevance that the author’s family holds. Im not completely through the introduction but I’m already learning a lot of details.

There’s a lot to unpack here- the start of this section is definitely the start of the climax and Jake coming into himself. I feel like he’s a little scared of himself here- I hope his talk with gramps doesnt stop this growth of standing up for himself. But I do hope he gets a handle on the anger. Personally Im proud of the way he handled the principal and what he said to his mother because WTF.
