Yall are wild

I hit a lil slump yesterday with this book as I know what will be happening but there are still new things. Not just Hades’ perspective but also new things that were taking place out of Persophone’s knowledge. Just like Hades doesn’t know about her day to day school, Lexa and work.

So the evil mother is finally dead. Thank God. However, I assumed the death would have offered up some realisations for Jennette, like that her mom was the worst. Her codependence on her mother didn't either or rather it was transformed and she began her dependence on her new boyfriend (much better than Joe).

Joe gets her to go to therapy but one therapy gets her to realise her mother was abusive she ended it.

What a heartbreak. She wanted freedom but at what cost. Being forgotten damn that hurts.

Im having a great time and the writing is growing on me. It’s surprisingly not just goopy romance or smut. There’s emotions growth and learning.

Nice and juicy- some lines I thoroughly enjoyed.
