Okay - as of this page, my theory now is that Yana is alive. The emperor’s secret is that while he forced Yana into Exile, he did not let her die in the end. This is what Gaida somehow found out, and that is why the Emperor had Vabras kill her (or had someone kill her).
Yana, who would want revenge, knew about the Dragonscale oil and used it on Neema, and used Ruko’s dagger to frame/scare him.
