I feel like I’m watching a period piece film while reading this book, descriptive and dramatic!

I’ve finally figured out how to read Clarice Lispector’s stream of consciousness writing style. I have to just quickly read over all the words, instead of dissecting every sentence. & share the human experience with these characters, rather than figuring out a plot.

I’ve also found it helps to read it out loud!
