I need this endless war ... to... Well .... Quite frankly .. it needs to end. This book is dragging for me. Probably headed into a slump because concept wise this storyline is cool.

I hope that this series overall doesn't let me down because I can FEEL a ton of re-reads in the future if it stays as complete to me as it does right now.

I am pleasantly surprised that I'm enjoying this so much. Just when I think I know the path the story will take (for me anyway) there are legit plot twists that have me saying "ok cool, I didn't see that coming!"

I do not want to put this down.
I'm obsessed.

So it's Hunger Games with magic. I'm intrigued and hopeful this will be a good (entertaining) random read. Most of my randoms this year have been let downs.

Refreshing switch from romantacy. Predictable, and written like a YA but that's kinda nice too. I haven't read a "contemporary" book in forever so there's that.
