I decided to join the rest of fantasy readers and open one of the prequels to the Witcher series. So far, I'm intrigued, so hopefully this turns into a good read for me.

A good start to the story, I want to learn more about the past. :)

I would shorten certain parts of this book, becuse it takes too long for the plot to move forwards, and the reader is only reluctantly given more information that would make them interested in more... now, only when I'm half way through the book, do we start to get a picture of what this whole library business might mean... I'm sure, that is too long for some readers. A shame.

This series is such a pick-me-up read for me... it is dark, distopian for sure, but just funny enough to not sap your energy.

So many strange names at once... I'm feeling a tad confused about which character we're talking about, but I'm getting the hang of it. Maybe I'll reread a chapter to get a better graps of it, because it does look promising.
