C-major is reading Love in the Time of Cholera

I am abandoning this book. I have tried a few times to get into it. This is as far as I have read. As a mom I need a clear moment to pause, like the end of the chapter, but there chapters in this book- if that is what you can call them- are no less than 70 pages. I get interrupted more times than not and find myself having to re-read. What I have read doesn't exactly suck me in. Immature characters,no romance.
