everytime i pick up this book i ruin my makeup

i picked up this book thinking that it would be some cheesy romcom. UM! 😀 im fighting for my life rn

only a few pages in and i already know that this is going to be five stars

happiness will not arise from doing something all the time. the modern belief of happiness is deeply rooted in consumerism. happiness sits in tranquility, not constantly being stimulated.

the chapter on how to be good fully had my attention

why did i not read this sooner? the prose is beautiful

I do not like how the main plot keeps getting interrupted by unrelated side stories every other chapter. Too slow paced for my liking for the main plot (if there is one???). Alas, I’ll keep reading the book because I like the characters.
