Last nights update done this morning… read until I dozed off 😂

Action packed conclusion. A high fantasy adventure the fulfills its premise. Some violence and darker themes but fun overall

Action, suspense … seeds of betrayals?…

Really enjoying this ‘what if’ story. So far it’s a touch violent and a dark gritty reimagining, this should be good my my girls I reckon

Reading this to make sure it’s appropriate for my kids, enjoying it so far

Lots of fun. I love the setting as someone who has read a lot of Horus heresy books, this has that similar absurd future apocalypse setting

Things have started happening again, read last night until I fell asleep which is always a good sign for an engaging read. The preamble to the talks with the enemy leader outside the walls was a bit of a struggle, but I’m through it now

Still enjoying, the romance subplots are obvious but not overbearing, the violence is relevant and not gratuitous. This is a story of characters acting to their motivations and coming into contact and conflict with one another

It’s just hit me, this book is a Fantasy Soap Opera, dramatic pauses, intense stares, over the top personalities,
It’s like I’m reading gossip girl with swords and magic

I am enjoying the change of pace though, light, easy to read and digest
