Enjoyed the werewolf headquarters scene

Lots of extra stuff that’s just kind of boring. Lots of interesting ideas in the book, it’s just too long with too much fluff.

My opinion is improving. I would love more backstory and more character work in general.

Some scenes are fun. The book is best when the characters have to interact and work together instead of focusing on the POVs of singular characters.

Why is this book so long?

Now I want to keep reading, somewhere between ACOTAR and Throne of Glass.

The beginning was too slow for me, but the story picks up. I can feel a sense of direction now.

Still slow, but I appreciate that we’re finally getting to know Fanny outside of the social circle.

Jane Austen books tend to have a slow start. But ofc, our character Franny feels real and fleshed out.

At the absolute climax of the story. Celaena is currently bombing in the final duel :/

I love these characters, especially our main character, I’m surprised by how like-able, relatable, and well rounded she is!

Maas is much better as a YA author. I can’t wait to read more :)

Already much better than ACOTAR. Characters are cliché but likeable and the rich imagery Maas attempted in ACOTAR pays off in this series more.
