“No campaign against wokeness has a shot without confronting civil rights law directly… Want police to enforce the law rather than worrying about the skin color of who they handcuff?… Want schools to stop penalizing white and Asian applicants?… Want your daughter’s locker room free of leering 40-year-old men wearing bad wigs? Gotta change civil rights law” (143-143).

“Often conservatives are just too nice. Another British writer, Horace Walpole, once observed that ‘No country was ever saved by good men, because good men will not go to the length that may be necessary’” (103).

“Jesus told us to love our enemies, but not like this. Loving your enemy is different from subsidizing them. Turning the other cheek is different from financing your enemy’s UFC training to better strike you” (59).

“While the woke present themselves as caring, progressive, and selfless, the truth is they are the exact opposite. Wokeness is petty, grievance-based and backwards-looking. It’s mean-spirited and uncharitable. Speaking of wokeness, transgenderism, and rampant crime, he writes, “the threat to America will spread until it either devours the whole country or is definitively stopped” (23). This is a scary chapter to read in light of the fact that a transgender murdered Charlie Kirk. In his own words, “wokeness is a mental illness that believes itself to be the cure” (25).

“We treat politics as a spectator sport rather than something of enormous importance to hundreds of millions of people and the fate of the greatest country to ever exist…. Conservatives don’t care as much about saving this country as the left cares about demolishing it” (xi, xiii).

“Not all cultures are morally equivalent. It’s a lesson the west refuses to learn” (141).

“An easy life isn’t an option; an easy yoke is.” (88)

“The average guy spends ten thousand hours playing video games by age twenty-one. Ten thousand hours…. In ten thousand hours, you could master any craft or become an expert in any field — from Sumerian archeology to Olympic water polo. You could get your bachelor's degree and your master's degree. You could memorize the New Testament. Or, you could beat level four of Call of Duty.” (71)

Envy destroys a civilization. The serpent in the garden of Eden was the ultimate scavenger, convincing Adam and Eve of God’s injustice and manipulation of them.
