I finished the first six stories reading them poolside. Each short story is quite impactful and so I felt overwhelmed reading one story after another. I may pick this collection up again at a later time but for now it’s back to the bookshelf.

I really enjoyed this beautifully written memoir.
The narrative reveals the life and times of a young woman at a convent in Sydney during the 1960s. It took me back to those days and reminded me of my early education under the Nuns in Brisbane.
