Chaol is so good at blaming the whole world of everything. Always the noble self hating little human victim…pathetic

Chaol is dancing on my nerves so much lately. He excuses his behaviour with his “nobility and honour“, yet I can’t help but think that the main reason he wants to save the king of his choosing is more so we would not consider himself no more for “oath breaker”, which is entirely more selfish than what he tells himself. And to have the nerve to be jealous and condescending - some Dane Aetos book 1&2 shit.

The scene with the orchestra devastated me entirely

Chaol is very interesting character. I struggle to connect with him and yet I find myself being sad for him

No wonder she doesn’t trust female friends in book 1 after this
