After rereading the book with a different set of lens, I’m seeing the value in it a bit more. Fuck everyone that marketing this book as a yearning romance. I’m reading it now as a story on loneliness and projection, and his failure to truly know another person because this imaginative image he created of her. It’s about confusing obsession with love. And I hope he works through it
