Yup. Can tell I’m going to enjoy this one.

I['m absolutely indulging, but as far as I can tell this book isn't going to get a higher rating than 3 Stars from me. I'm nitpicking, but if we are telling such a dark story from first person POV, I require more complex string of thoughts.

That's not to say the story is bad, as I said I'm indulging, but intimately understanding this psychology would make the story soooo much better.

I like this darker side of story telling; doesn’t make me uncomfortable at all. Trying to accurately portray the psychology of such deranged characters is difficult and I feel like the author is almost there.

Almost.

The Jekyll and Hyde is present in Bones and that’s good based on unfortunate IRL circumstances that I am painfully aware of. My problem is the reasoning. Doesn’t seem as twisted as it should be

Enjoying it so far.

I enjoy the banter so far. Definitely a slow burn. I really enjoy the female protagonist but I have noticed thinking that Osric’s personality doesn’t necessarily fit his occupation; which I guess is just me nitpicking.

I certainly can’t put this book down, I read half of it in one day already.
