Miriam Williams is starting New Life in Public Squares
Good case studies! I would have liked better plans of each space though.

We know how easily the spirit lets slip the reins of the body when happiness takes over... This is the weirdest book. Pages and pages of random tangents and comma-filled sentences with the occasional haunting/ beautiful image. I don't know if I'm enjoying it or not!

"To be part of the density, the diversity, and the democracy of the multitude of people pulsing through a public space is glorious." Such a love letter to the city.

Miriam Williams is reading Unruly Places: Lost Spaces, Secret Cities, and Other Inscrutable Geographies
So apparently 700 miles east of Queensland is Sandy Island, a place that was finally unfound in 2012. Only one chapter in and loving this book.
