Audiobook borrowed because of narrator - everyone’s favourite Julia Wheelan. Surprisingly enjoyable - is it the magic of the voice or the prose itself? Either way. Keeping me entertained in the car.

Deciding to read this book on the train was a rookie error. Trying to make my eyes not leak so have to put it away.

I’ve tried, but I just can’t. The first book was fun - or was I just desperate for a fantasy book? We’ll never know. DNF for this Temu Romantasy.

Uhm is this when I DNF this? The whole thing feels like a Tenu mashup of Romantasy tropes.

Desperate libby audiobook loan for car naps. Nearly done but oof it’s pretty terrible. DNF at 94% because something better finally came along 🫣 painful.

I spy with my little eye a nod to The Subtle Blade by Philip Pullman. Just a minor side bar. Anyway. I love this. I’m back on Team SJM.

I think we all know that a) Prince Killian is a spineless user by now, b) Stark is clearly the hottie she’ll be in to and c) the Nabbers are not what she thinks they are (the call is coming from inside, mais non?)
