Why everything is rushed ?

For now, I'm not particularly enjoying the plot or even the worldbuilding, but I am curious about the characters.

Why is this going so wrong? It was so great in the first volume, and now it's going in a direction I don't like at all.

It's been so long since I've read a book with such a good slow burn.

The slow burn is soo good and thank god we have Tessa and Theon who act logically

Lauren Asher's writing style is so recognizable, even in this Christmas story. I love it!
