Second book is a true enemies to lovers

I’m only pushing through because I’m curious what happens next. The FMC is barely tolerable. There’s miscommunication/lack of communication on nearly every page — a trope I DESPISE. There’s so much bulk to these books that could have easily been edited out. I’ve never wanted to yell “GET TO THE POINT” at an author more.
