I can’t tell if I don’t like Heath or if Kat is just an unreliable narrator

This took awhile for me to really get into to. But the last 50 pages has been non stop drama and turns so I’m liking it a bit more

Feels very whimsical so far and I feel like more depth will be revealed soon. So far I am very much enjoying this

This is a very uncomfortable listen. But I should have expected that based on the synopsis and the brutal honest way in which McCurdy wrote her memoir.

Started listening to this today during my workout. I love mccurdy’s bluntness. There is so much relatability at times. She is writing what everyone is thinking. She also brings up current activities and experiences without being cringe.

I fear the remainder of this will be dreadful to get through. Richard finally knows what the group did and plenty of evidence to despise Bunny has been given. So now it’s just waiting another 300 pages to figure out exactly how he dies

It’s starting to pick up with the mystery of it all and well written foreshadowing

I'm really struggling to get into this. The long chapters are daunting and the one perspective but multiple characters does not capture my attention as much.

Okay now I’m finally crying. Just have part 3 left.

I’m still confused on how Felicia and Mila managed to escape that nightmare. Also how is Halina with her parents? Last time we saw her she was trying to get Adam from the camp right???

I’m also annoyed a little by the amount of other languages that are used. I understand it’s true to the events and time period but I wish more often translations and context were given after

This story is kind of confusing with the ensemble of characters and the switching perspectives.

I really appreciate the inserted excerpts in important dates in the war and lead up to conflict
