Oh that was pretty epic. I enjoyed that fight sequence a lot

Oh wow she’s so annoying 😑 this series is a DNF for me. I’m almost done the book so I’ll see it to the end but the writing is too juvenile and too much use of the word “fucking” to describe something. Oh and we can’t forget the “I won’t go down with a fight”

Meryn is so annoying. She never learns. Doesn’t accept. We’re 60% with no progression. I want to DNF

And we hit a plateau 😑 the second trial was boring 🥱 the books reads very YA 🙄 and not in the enjoyable way 🫤

The dialogue feels a little juvenile and the plot is predictable.The plot feels stagnant. I get that we have trials so she can strengthen her bond but I don’t like anybody so I don’t really care. The book started off with “I need to save my sister” but it feels like the author just needed a reason to justify meryn to join the army to meet her dire wolf. I also spoiled myself with the identity of her bf 🙄

Okay, vibes ✌️ I can’t wait to meet my dire wolf. Should I sleep after meeting my wolf or before climbing this mountain?
