David obviously likes Giovanni. I like Giovanni too. He sounds like a lovely man and is subtly flirtatious. I’m curious as to why he has to die??? And why did Baldwin choose to reveal his death so early in the book?

A lot is going on. John is in the middle of salvation and his Father wants to symbolically murder him.. I wish Elizabeth never met this man omg 😭

That nigga John HATES his dad. Also Gabriel is a trifling ass ho. How you gon be deceitful and blame others for issues YOU CAUSED. Hell is hot.

I’m enjoying the book so far! I relate to the main character John because as a kid I wasn’t fond of church either despite growing up in a Christian household and going to catholic school. Religion really governs his life and it makes him scared not comforted.

The pacing of this book is good I think. The characters are written well, especially Bunny. Very unlikable character. So far I’m at the point where Henry confides in Henry that he’s accidentally killed someone. I don’t know this group moves weird…

Loving this book even though it’s taking a while for me finish it 😅. I’m learning a lot actually about healthcare in America and how it affects Americans( specifically in Texas). It’s such a complex issue.

So far I like this book..I think. I’ve never read romance novels before so I’m open to whatever may interest me. I find the MC very relatable, she often gets migraines and I often feel overstimulated very annoying!!!

It’s going…I relate to Esther on how she thinks but she’s kinda racist lowkey. Like wdym “ugly as Aztecs” also Billy needs to move on.

Part 1 of this book was really boring and slow…especially having to define almost every Russian slang but I finally got it down! I enjoyed reading part 2 and I’m anticipating what’s gonna happen to Alex now that he’s free but he doesn’t really have free choice. I feel bad he can’t listen to his fav music the same way anymore :(

It’s just violence. Also why the fuck did the author write it like that!?!? It took me an hour to read Chapter 1 because of how many slang words or “solves” I had to define. I’m not really having fun while reading it at the moment. But I am determined to finish this book.

I like it a lot so far. This is my second day reading it and already got to Chapter 10 😂
