Finished The War of the Worlds

Hoping to read The Time Machine and The Invisible Man too, but may have to put this on pause for a bit.

Completed Don't Look Now. Maybe 4 stars. Liked it, love this style of writing and keen to read even more from this author (yea, still need to read the popular ones, but loved Frenchmans Creek), but the story was also pretty sad, despite the exciting ghostly stuff. Maybe hit too close to home, or something- separated loved ones and death and stuff. Too scary!

Reading just Don't Look Now for a group read, but might read more from this collection another time. This is my first Du Maurier, so will see how it goes. I like the style of text already, but it's to be seen how i will feel about this story. Little heavy, so I'm pausing for the night to finish another time.

Forgot, i was supposed to be fangirling on these updates. Well, this is sort of that. I started up watching the Shadowhunters series again and I have reached the parts from this book, in fact the last episode i watched revealed one of these last chapters. I think i need to finish up these books quickly so i can watch without more spoilers! 👏😅

Huh! I thought we would still be able to message with existing messages, but it doesn't seem like we can anymore? Well, I guess I will have to catch up with you, my friends, where we used to chat. ✌
