So far I’m on Chapter 6, I’m enjoying this book..but at the same time I’m drawn (too much maybe?) to the location, and surrounding areas, the buildings & the mention of businesses & their staff…because I LIVE IN THIS SMALL TOWN! My mind is constantly confirming the location details in the story. The author has def spent some time in our Town & the surrounding areas.

I really enjoyed this book. At first (100 pages ish), I was ready to quit…I enjoyed 1 storyline, but not really the other. This book was recommended, so I continued & it wasn’t long before I was vested in both storylines.
If possible, I would give a rating of 3.5 - - maybe 3.75..?
But, for my tastes, a rating of 4 might be a bit high.

Overall I enjoyed this book..it’s not in usual “story” format. It’s like listening to family members sharing memories while everyone’s sitting on the porch sipping a tall cold beverage…warm & cozy feelings with some laughter, some tears & lots of wow-tell me more!
