I give this book enough of a chance but giving up on it now! very interested in the history and wanting to learn more about it but I don’t think this book is the one. It does a terrible job I think. Very hard to follow because so many names and places are being introduced but their introductions are not well done. Also quotes another book for half the time so gets confusing what you’re reading half the time.

I’m liking how the story is going yet currently not much action I guess. Kinda missing Murakamis supernatural twists in this seems like a long love story maybe! But will see how it ends😮
