this book is unbelievable

guys💀 this is so silly, but it’s also so tea😭 I think it gives a weird impression of kids/teens relationships, maybe a little idealistic, but I don’t know what that means for the kids/teens reading this. Still, it’s interesting - I don’t know what to think yet, or how i’m gonna talk to this kid about it…

reading this for a 15 year old kid that i’m mentoring. she really likes it, i am skeptical af so far lmao but excited! already getting flashbacks to high school, good ones bad ones and real ugly ones :p

i’m at what feels like an impasse - an abhorrently racist section came up. It’s just disgusting, how racism was contagious and normalized.

I don’t know if i’m going to continue reading after this. Because i’m not disliking the book, and I think I could continue with these deficiencies acutely in mind, but is it really a voice I want to give my time to? Do I care to know it with all its blatant faults?

i think i’m getting ernest hemingway mixed up with ee cummings lmao thought this was a poetry book, still we’ll see where this goes, just hope i’m not disappointed because I really just picked this book up for something to do…

huge ass plot hole but i’m persevering

This book was a christmas gift and I probably wouldn’t have picked it up otherwise but so far it’s pretty interesting. An easy read for sure xo

I know that this is a deeply sad read but for who EYE am personally at this point in the story this is a horror novel D: so interesting though the writing so good falls of the bone but i can’t believe everything is happening so quickly
