The first half of this book I was really struggling through, the narrator is every “woe is me” & I was really over it. I was close to not finishing this book but it really started to pick up & finally hooked me. Just finished the full reveal of the twist, while I already knew it was coming from seeing the movie, I’m curious to show Mak the movie & see when/if she catches the twist before the reveal.
