“It is the curse of women to always bear the prejudice of man’s fear” (Perchta)

The FMC is annoying me a little bit at the moment. But we’re only 20% in….but if I hear “I love my husband so much, but he bores me” one more time while Emilio is sucking on her neck…babes…you wanted the open marriage. But Andy is at fault too cause he doesn’t wanna have an open marriage, but is willing to hurt himself for her to have fun. No one thought…counseling????

This is in fact NOT a romance. This is like watching a horror story of your best friend with a terrible boyfriend that she keeps trying to convince her isn’t good for her but she’s keeps going “no but he’s really a good guy”

WE ARE PERCHETA!!

On a “women’s history by spooky” kick lately with the audiobooks

Listening to this is like listening to her podcast but there soooooo many pop culture references and sometimes the same ones (ex: gossip girl references)

“I stood before no man, but Death himself. As a pupil, not a prostitute. Fully clothed — though I felt naked under piercing gaze.” (Salomè)

After seeing the Titanic Exhibit it’s only appropriate I listen to an audiobook to hear more about my history obsession

Uhhhhhhhh wtf just happened!!?!?!??

Carlos gives selfish and adult that grew up as a neglected child at the same time.

The dual POV in a haunted house with one of the POVs being bedridden and unable to communicate but at the same time “hallucinating” ghosts is giving unreliable narration but in a good way. Cause both are clearly losing their minds while in this haunted ass house (also marriage falling apart as well)

Idk what’s hotter this story (minus the SA of course) or the VAs voices (guy and girl)

✨ New Audiobook ✨

Thalia just always doing shit where she needs rescuing. Giving me Elena Gilbert vibes

“Kiss me, Delilah,” he says “Make it all go away. Please” [shoves face into pillow and screams while kicking my feet]

The soft way Jackson describes Delilah’s body is making me meeeeelt 🫠

“I think you hide all of your best parts in tiny little pouches, Jackson Clark” (Delilah) 😩😩😩😩

I am really really starting to like this

I miiiiight like Valen more than Zav, the quite ones always get me

✨ new ARC read ✨

I’m already OBSESSED with Jackson and Dahlia

“Working with Gianna is what I imagine having a toddler is like. A toddler with a caffeine addiction and an absolutely foul mouth” — this a quote from my assistant? How did a description of me make it into this book?

This might be changing my mind about Ali Hazelwood books…in a good way
