I couldn’t get into it. Books either grip me or I suffer through them and I was suffering here. It’s crazy because it seemed good and I wanted to get there, I just couldn’t.

The dogs legit ate my book. I have ordered a new one using a barns and noble gift card I bought off one of the kids a year ago.

Going well, not as gripping as others - or maybe I’m just older.

Ever read a book and nod the entire time? That's where I am. Switching frantically between the thoughts, "I just said that!" "This exactly!" and "Thank God someone wrote this book." lol now, onto chapter four!

I'm not sure how it happened, but I got sucked in. While Divergent was no literary masterpiece it did at least entertain me for a moment. I just found it strange how I felt like I was reading forever and yet only and hour would pass and nothing real happened in the story. Also, I had to remind myself that the heroine is 16 and I needed to cut her some slack. Here I am, however, starting book two. lol
