I’m getting close. I think I’m at the part where the explosion happens where we had the memories of Helena briefly in part one with the thing on fire. This is NOT going to go well. I wonder if ferron will go to her rescue. I’m excited for the fight scenes though. And I really want to know what happened. But ferron being cold to her again. Then she gets pregnant. And girl. I would be as distraught as you. Then it just ends in the cliff hanger onto part two. Great. I think the things happened because she was getting her memory back. Maybe bc of what sorien said about how she won’t have the energy for both the baby and to keep her memories hidden. So now I get a whole backstory. Gl to me 🫡😛

Okay… so a lot happened. She almost got raped. Then she had her eye gauged out. THEN put back in. Then moments later she’s being told she isn’t sterilised anymore and can have kids. Not can. HAS TO. she has NO choice. And Ferron has two months to get her pregnant before she is sent off to the centre to be raped god knows how many times. THE TENSION. It’s a bit sad she is forced to.

Morrough (leader of the undying) is dying?!?🫢🫢 that was such a huge twist when she linked the dots. And this soren guy she can’t remember. When she tried remembering her mind bascically went all around the thought and made her forget. Making her think she was thinking about Lila. HES defo important. Got to be something if she can’t remember him. I’m loving the book. I’m making good progress so far

The detail in the describing is INSANE I love it. I love how the emotions are shown through Helena. Ferien as well. Wonder if they were something before she forgot everything. The tension is insane. His wife annoys me as well so thank god she’s barely there so far but the affair 😟 saw it coming but still shocked me. Luc being mentioned almost every chapter is crazy. I want to know more. Is he dead? Know more
