Reads at a fifth grade level at times due to hand holding and explanations. Telling instead of showing. Liking the imagery though.

Love the imagery, but the writing suffers from hand holding and too many explanations doing telling instead of showing. It reads in a fifth grade level at times because of this.

So far a hard read because there’s a bunch of nothingness going on and endless descriptions of irrelevant subjects. I do really enjoy the writing and want to enjoy the book but the narrator is unlikable for me; long winded and easily frazzled, the book goes on endless rambles because of this.
