Starts very slow, but man did it ever pick up. George Orwell’s writing style I think takes a good amount of “commitment” as the paragraphs are long and there are infrequent breaks. However, the way he captures the world he created is why this book is so renowned in my opinion. It’s easy to feel immersed in his universe as the reader.
