At first I didn’t quite get it, but as you read you can truly feel the grief and regret that comes with living and then dying. As well as the limitations of human capability. A short book that’s a good experience to read.
I also felt that the disappearance of items in the main characters life is less literal and more of an implication on how it feels to drift away and which aspects of your life actually matter.
