i am not sure i’m going to be able to do this. i’m TEN PERCENT into this book and the main character has already befallen more tragedy than should take place in a whole book. it has so many good reviews but i really don’t know if this sad shit is going to be for me

i do not like this book. it is boring and dragging on. it’s all effy “ah i’m a burden the fairy king is gone how could preston love me i should just put us both out of our misery even though im living my dream in the literature college” and preston is all like “ah im so scared effy is going to get a paper cut and im in dream land” like i get it they are going through rough times but i am just so bored
