you think living a couple of hundred years will bring about poignant changes of ones character traits. but nope. at least not for our main characters. seems like you are becoming a more extreme version of yourself. maybe this lack of self-reflection held back my tears in dramatic moments. i did like the time line changes and the overall vampire world concept though. worthwhile entertainment.
