Is it just me or is this book incredibly confusing? I want to keep reading because the plot sounds interesting and it has potential… but so far it’s confusing…

Very spooky & chilling so far. I’m not a fan of Mrs. Baker, and part of me feels like Jessie has something to do with Mary’s disappearance… Nevertheless, I’m thoroughly enjoying it so far and hope to make a good dent in it this weekend.

I’m aware that this is very early days, however I’m finally over my book scaries with this book & I’m very excited to read it. So far, I’m enjoying it but as it’s only early days I’ll give it a few more pages before I decide.

Despite it being in third person, I’m really enjoying this book so far. However, the description of the ‘person’ caught on the doorbell is a bit… rubbish. Would’ve been creepier if it was Deek, I think.

I love Freida so much — she has a way of making you feel like you’re the main character every time.

The FMC is naive as usual! She obviously knows what’s going on and should trust her gut, but this is Freida’s writing we’re talking about so that’ll never happen!

Utter filth & I LOVE it — this is just what I was wanting after reading Lights Out!!

I’ve actually never laughed out loud at a book before, ever. I adore this story (in some weird way I can’t explain)!!!

I am eating this up tonight omg. I’ve heard bad stuff about this book but so far I disagree (in a good way?)

The smut is smutting for sure

Definitely enjoying it so far, but it’s hard to comment when I’m only 28 pages in…. However, the 28 pages I’ve read, I’ve enjoyed.

I want to preface this journey by saying this is so out of my comfort zone I’m nervous! I’ve been reading more romance lately (all I ever read are thrillers as you can see) so this is new territory for me and I hope I like it as much as I think I will.

Slow burner for sure…. But I quite like it so far!

I know I’m not that far into this, and to say I don’t often (if at all) read romances, I’m really enjoying it! I guess time will tell if it gets better, worse, cringier etc… I can’t do with overly cringe romances, and I hope the coziness of this book doesn’t turn cringy.

Doing well — 158 pages in and don’t feel like giving up yet. Is it safe to say I enjoy romance now???

I quite like this so far, purely because it’s not been cringy on every page. I’ve tried romances before but never settled — this, so far, seems up my street considering I’m a thriller girly through & through…

Not a romance reader, but this one I’m enjoying (so far). I will be surprised if I finish it!

Of course I love this book — how couldn’t I when it’s by Freida? However, this totally contradicts what I’ve just said but why is it so repetitive? Usually by now there’s a jaw dropping end to a chapter, and less repetition?? I mean these are just my opinions, but really? Seemed like two pages were spent talking about that fish tank & muffin tin… pointless? I don’t know, I still love the book!

I preordered this, I needed Freida! I am yet to catch up on the rest of her books… but I just had to get this!

This is for sure a claustrophobic fast paced thriller that I simply can’t get enough of! Even though we’ve pretty much discovered the main ‘twist’ I like how it’s being continued and how much I feel as though I’m Charlie!

Hoping I like this one as I have high expectations for it — seems like a claustrophobic thriller is what’s needed for the beginning of October!

Still enjoying it, seems to be getting more interesting now too so I’m looking forward to seeing how it all plays out.

Roughly on page 70, and enjoying it so far. I was a bit put off when I saw it was YA but I’m glad I gave it a chance. A bit of a slow burner (despite the prologue) and is about a small town which is the trope I’m enjoying currently.
