this book is the perfect read when escapism is needed

Wasn’t expecting this book to be this addictive. It’s totally looking like a one sitting read. Ugh, i’m obsessed!!!

Loads to unpack here. Can’t put the book down. So many emotions, you can’t help but to feel sorry for the main character. Yet, I’m also very concerned.

Jessamyn, the main character has very dangerous thoughts and, dare I say, all the characteristics of a narcissistic pervert. She’s also very delusional, which is needed when you dream big but her delusions are otherworldly. Interesting…

The protagonist is such an interesting character. As someone in the arts myself, I relate at times but, most times, her thoughts are so unhinged and I love it.

Aaah! The importance of vulnerability and truthfulness! I’m drinking the words and flying through the pages. I LOVE IT

The amount of research and analysis that went into the writing process is astonishing. Learning this much about mental illness and open discussions about it with my family has been amazing. This book… wow

OH MY…. Nothing could have prepared me for what just happened. What a perfect depiction of how complex human feelings are.

Oh… what a heated start! This took me by surprise and I’m not mad at it.

My first Tia Williams read. I love the book’s setting already. It feels like “Really Love” (2020), “Mo’ Better Blues” (1990) & “Ray” (2004) all at once. Colourful, full of culture and driving by poetic sound.

I enjoy the genre way more than i thought i ever would. 😅 Very entertaining, that’s for sure

Almost read the entire thing in one sitting. This is…. SPICY!🌶️ Love the characters and so happy that Zanders & Stevie from the first book aren’t forgotten in this story. Was not expecting the fake dating trope!!!

Never read any romantasy before. Definitely a first. My friend recommended it to me. I re-read the first two pages twice … i was lost😂 Curious to know what this is all about!
