Genuinely one of the most boring things I've ever seen analyzed with such intensity of devotion, but the author's passion is infectious. Twilley has managed to bring me a genuine feeling of investment in the evolution of refrigeration.

Eh, it's nice, but most certainly speculative pop science. I appreciate the philosophical intrigue, but not the assumption that the reader understands this to come from a place of meandering superficiality. Although it encourages a deeper interest in science, it does not encourage a factual and objective approach, therefore allowing for misunderstanding as a form of creative interpretation.
